Anyone else got it? What are your first impressions for those who haven't played it on console?
only got ot play a little bit today but im likin it so far
is the multiplayer good? had it on console but don't wanna fork out another $70 if mp is shit
Online is def more fun since i actually have friends on this platform. I basically played for a couple of hours on 360 (enough to get the cash bonus after the server shit and to get an apartment) and then stopped cause I hate playing with randoms. It's still a lot of grinding for xp and cash, but it's honestly a ton of fun to just fuck around with friends.
On that note, post your Social Clubs

It runs really, really well. I'm so happy it's not like GTA4 on PC.
Just bought it.. 17 hour download time ... hhhnnngggg
Definitely enjoying it so far, though I'm a bit lost on what to do. Note to those playing online, don't skip the tutorial. It ends up blocking you from doing several things including inviting/directly joining off friends until you do it.
Had to get the Nvidia ready GTA V drivers for it to run properly- now it runs great!
Impressive port. I'm stuck on my mid tier laptop for a few days, so I downloaded it mainly so I could make a backup and quickly transfer it to my pc when I got home, but turns out it runs just fine on low-mid settings. I honestly expected a slideshow, but it's very smooth. Definitely seems like rockstar put a lot of work into making the port scalable.

To my knowledge its not a port. they developed the game on different platforms simultaneously. ps3/360 first, then next gen consoles, then pc.

The cars feels really good in this game. You can actually drive them, unlike gta4 where the steering felt like large boats. There is also cats, which is a big plus.
I can't progress in the story because of crashing during a particular mission. When i used a workaround to skip the mission (repeatedly killing myself), the crash happened in a later mission.
I literally played the mission 6 times because I was really enjoying the game and wanted to progress in the story, and I wanted to believe the crashes were somehow on my setup and not a broken game.
But Rockstar made a broken game again.

That's really odd, I get around 100 with a 2500k @ 5GHz, 970, and maxed graphics. 4x MSAA, no TXAA or FXAA. 1080p. This is after the NVIDIA driver that majorly boosted performance, and after Update/Patch 2, which removed the constant stuttering and slightly increased performance too.
