Thanks to all the players who are making the jump to ESEA. You guys are the best. I guarantee you you'll improve a lot faster than in UGC and won't regret it. =)
^yes all of you guys are awesome, good luck this season!

There is no direct correlation between playing esea/ugc and getting better. I agree that most teams playing esea take it more seriously and that is why they get better faster, but that doesn't mean it is because they are in esea. There is nothing stopping a ugc team(or hell even a no league team scrim team) from practicing hard and getting good faster than an esea team.
I don't mean to detract from the fact that 70 plus teams in open would be awesome.

DreamboatflatlineHow good Techdude's team does depends on how serious they play; if they do take it seriously they could be a serious contender for the title, but if it's a fun season I could see 5th-6th tops honestly.
Also, don't count out tony jawk. Even with some class swaps if they fill in the holes on their roster with some competent players they could be a really good team.
http://play.esea.net/teams/92053 might be a dark horse, inco is amazing at staying alive and they should have some good chemistry from staying around after last season.
Rage and Scruff are definitely good at this game, could definitely see them in playoffs
Rage and scruffs team has been improving at a very fast rate , with a pick up of inco at demo it would be a disappointment if they fall short of playoffs

good luck to all teams signing up this season! to all new-to-esea players, keep in mind: you WILL lose, it WILL suck, but you WILL improve. keep at it!
City of Lions will pay up. We have a couple pockets we're looking at.
with registration closed, what's going to be with teams with a few players paid up?

Any team with 5 players payed up won't get removed is what I've heard.

New to ESEA here. Our team has 6 players paid up (albeit shortly before the deadline) but under the "Register and Pay" page it says not enough players paid and our status is still marked as "Pending minimum player payments." Is this just a system delay, or is this going to be a problem?
If your team page had 6 players with 'paid' next to their name before midnight you will be fine. There is a delay.
Hey I'm going to be doing some weekly spotlight articles on various teams throughout the season so if you get an add from me please accept, thanks!
