My team has been unable to join our match server so far tonight saying our TF2/Steam versions are different than what the client expects.

Check that you're on your admin account. That's what did it for me.

8:32 PM - tri: we notified the client guy, he said he was working on an update
8:32 PM - tri: that was like 30 ago
