Hi I'm Tri. I'm writing to inform you that for playoffs we've decided to ban picking up weapons for the rest of the season (until playoffs are over). We'll review the gameplay change after the season is over but for now we don't want to have such a new mechanic in playoffs when it hasn't been seen in the regular season. We apologize for the late decision on this but we figured it was the one people were expecting anyway. I'll make an edit on the rule page on the ESEA site later.
ALL weapon picking up is banned. If someone picks up a weapon during a match then the round will be overturned. You'll have to submit a ticket with the match id and relevant STV tick(s) when the rule was broken. Any overturn requests must be submitted before the next round of matches is to be played (preferably right away), otherwise the score will stand.

tf_dropped_weapon_lifetime is a client-side cheat, so you'd have to turn sv_cheats on, turn off dropped weapons, and turn cheats back off - for every individual player.
You can make it a server variable using SourceMod with sm_cvar, but I don't think ESEA servers use SourceMod.
