saamHow can I add the last damage dealt to a hud? (specifically zhud if it's any different I have no idea)

HudDamageAccount.res needs a new section (or more for a shadow/box) which is positioned static in your hud.

To test this locally without having to deal damage and have last damage dealt permanently visible: hud_damagemeter 1 (ignore the dps meter bottom right)

Hey, guys. I wanted to ask if there are any commands/external programmes to trigger certain events in the game so that I can check what I've just edited. E.g. winpanel, confirm dialogs, notifications, etc.

You can record a demo of them. Notifications can be triggered by spawning halloween bosses (such as with ent_create headless_hatman ) too.

ChoppHow do I implement control points from one hud (zimhud) into another? I have tried to just copy/paste those three control point .res files as well as the part in hudlayout.res but that didnt work.

Zimmy put in custom materials for his control points, gotta copy those into your hud as well, I can't remember what they're called but it's something that's pretty obvious, I just don't know the exact name.

NokkEdit the positioning and size of HudDemomanPipes in hudlayout.res to fit your needs. Then you can move each property within the box in huddemomanpipes.res.

I tried to do that, but when doing hud_reloadscheme after I changed the values, vgui_drawtree 1 showed that huddemomanpipes was in the same place and nothing changed. And no, I didn't forget to save.

Those 2 needs to be changed, meaning you want the cornered borders. If you know which border that correct button uses, change it and it should work!

is there an easy way to convert a HUD from 16x9 up to 19x10 resolutions? I have eric helping me make my new hud and he cant do full 19x10, so i was wondering if i just have to go through and fix it manually or if theres an easier way

shocked no one has answered you yet. you can't right now. valve hard-coded something in the spectator hud and didn't mean to (assuming they didn't because the other team isn't hard-coded)
