This may be dumb, but I made a thread like this on natf2 and it seemed okay.

I often take my computer to bed with me to watch something until I fall asleep. The problem is I spend almost as much time looking for a movie on netflix as I do watching them. I kind of hate watching shitty movies so tediously sort through them and research their reviews before I watch them.

So I thought it would be cool to make a thread where you folks can post movies you've recently watched and liked.

All really good, especially Sherlock. You can skip over Great Game though, for an episode about ~~Moriarty bombing random people in London~~ it's kind of dull.

Walking Dead is decent, depending on your tastes. The game is better though.

Black Adder, starting with season 2 is pretty good too.

Doctor Who is a mixed bag.

I would recommend Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, but they're no longer there. I hear they're renegotiating though, so maybe check back soon.

Futurama's also all there, if for some reason you haven't seen it.

I know you said movies, but I don't watch movies, so here are good TV series:

- Breaking Bad - Best show ever. Chem teacher gets lung cancer, makes meth to pay for treatment.

- Game of Thrones - medieval fantasy + titties, watch it

- Dexter - Blood forensics guy kills bad guys by butchering them, good stuff

- Spartacus (and Blood and Sand) - this show will boost your testosterone through the roof...loads of fighting + titties

- Downton Abbey - (show looks like on dat faggytime but it's actually really good (serious) - it's about a rich british family in the late 1800's)

- Hatfields and McCoys - (good 3 episode mini-series about a feud between two families after the civil war)

- Flight of the Conchords - (comedy - 2 new zealand guys in a band, they make up funny songs and are hilarious)

- BattleStar Galactica - (good if you like space stuff, like Firefly? I think.)

- Archer - (very hilarious cartoon comedy w/ alpha-masculinist main character, all brahs will like this show guaranteed)

- An Idiot Abroad - (lulzy as fawk, ricky gervais sends this dumb but funny guy, karl pilkington, all over the world and makes him do stuff he hates - great watch)

- Band of Brothers - (amazing WW2 mini-series)

- The Pacific - (follow up mini-series of Band of Brothers, continues in different area of WW2 - so fawking good)

- Louie - (funny show with comedian Louie CK going about his daily life)

- Futurama - (good cartoon in general, funny how they parody things, good for when looking for something short and light-hearted to watch)

- Peep Show - (funny brit comedy with two guys who live in an apartment together)

- Fawlty Towers - (hilarious old british comedy about a guy who runs a hotel)

- Open All Hours - (funny old british comedy about an old man and his apprentice who run a small grocery shop)

- Seinfeld - (this show needs no introduction)
