I like the new player, and I always "turn off the lights" on youtube anyway (some firefox plugin, can't remember which) so the new layout - which is pretty bad - doesn't really bother me that much.

I wish there was still a link to comments on the frontpage

Oh, I can no longer set my frontpage to only show subscription uploads, instead of all these recommended videos and "so and so liked such video" and shit like that. That's probably the worst change.

I just like that I can pretty easily navigate my subscriptions now. Half the screen being white is stupid, but the previous lay-out only ever having 5 subscriptions pinned to the home page was just as ass. Now I can go between the like 7-8 BBCP footage channels I have subbed without issue so that's pretty swell.

Just found out that if you make your browser window smaller while being on YouTube, it will reposition itself so that the whole video is seen, and resizing it back to how you had it will change it back. Pretty cool.
