Yeah but there's no way that you are getting anybody to -125 on a post without the post being bad or botting

Also this overall seems like it's not worth it to implement imo, it doesn't offer any advantages over the +/- frag system that I can see

because if someone makes a long and informative paragraph that doesn't correspond with your opinion you will -frag it for sure, even though it is a good comment.

This is what +/- votes on reddit are supposed to be for and they just end up being about opinion. If you are criticizing something somebody cares about, the average forumgoer doesn't care how great your argument is, they care that it is contrary to theirs. If you implement a good/bad post button separate from an agree/disagree button I think that a lot of people would just hit the same thing on both for a lot of posts. A lot of people probably will refuse to admit that they would (or have even deluded themselves into believing that they really wouldn't), but near everybody would.
