So I noticed the HYPE for i55 was disturbingly low so I decided to do what I do best and have some fun editing.
Took me like 4 days, sorry if it feels a bit rushed but I really wanted to get something out in time to get some Hype going and this was a bit short notice.
Sorry for the lack of frags from our american friends but all the frags were from the GGG cup day 1 which I was expecting Froyotech to play as well but since they didn't that's all I had to use and I didn't wanna reuse frags from other seasons/events.
Thanks to the players who sent me POVs (silentes, forsak3n, mike and kaptain), DavidTheWin and Sideshow for hosting the event and providing me the stv's and beater for sending me the demo collection he had.
Now let's get the i55 HYPE going!

I hate to say it but I've gotten a lil' underhyped, especially after I heard that SDB wasn't coming over. But this video got me back on the hype train. Go Europe!

one thing that bothered me last year was that people were asking for more info on this tournament, and comp.tf had this amazing article on their site about i52 with all the info you could possibly ask for, BUT you couldn't send links of comp.tf on the stream chat smfh

Yeah I noticed, I hope that's sorted out this year. I would say we provide a valuable resource for lan, with arguably easier interface than multiplay site and a lot more information

As I said, I was expecting to use the GGG cup frags for this teaser video, but with froyotech dropping out at the last minute and the 2nd day being plagued by ddos all I could get hands on was the 1st day stvs and demos. Thats why I was so pissed at froyo dropping.
I went through 6 hours of rewatching vods after the cup and if you check the group B matches on stream there was not much going on barring a couple of moments so yeah, group A specially Reason and Nerdrage composed like 90% of the video but that's pretty much representative of that day because reason was wrecking everyone. Also I didn't want to reuse frags from esea matches (since beater has already done it all :D) so I just went ahed with it. Tbh I'm surprised there were even this many great frags from like 3-4 reason maps alone.

sorry no dogs.tf :( should have known better to include the fan favorites, it's just I didn't get the logo at the start and then by the end when all the logos were set up and cut into place it didn't even occur to me.
