This set up a rematch of their upper bracket match from the end of day one, which Reason had won on one map 5-2. The first map of the series was the classic staple of Badlands. Ascent got off to a roaring start by rolling the first round and taking a back-and-forth second round that lasted over half the map time. Reason, not to go down so easily, quickly take the third round after a short struggle to narrow the score 2-1. Ascent take the next mid and look poised to seal the deal, but Reason come back and tie the score with a round win. With less than a minute and a half remaining, it looks like the match is going into overtime, but Ascent take a crushing mid and roll into last to win the round and the map 3-2.

The next map of the series was Granary Pro. Reason take the first two rounds after protracted stalemates, draining over 20 minutes off the clock. Ascent, with their backs to the wall, push very quickly after winning mid and finally take their first round after a few failed pushes into last. With less than a minute and a half on the clock, Ascent win mid and have a chance to force overtime, but Reason defend against a final push to hold onto their 2-1 lead as time expires, tying the series.

Thus, the series would be decided on Snakewater. A marathon round ended in a stalemate as Ascent was attempting to push last because no points had been capped in ten minutes. With a minute and a half left, Reason storm through and barely win the round to win the map 1-0 and the series 2-1.

Thus, Ascent is knocked out of the tournament in 4th place, going home with £900. Reason Gaming will move on to face froyotech tomorrow in the lower final, with the winner moving on to face nerdRage.tf2 in the grand finals.
