I purchased the Zowie G-TF Rough a couple weeks ago, and so far I'm loving the feel of the pad. However, there's one problem with it - the rubber base of the pad won't stick to my desk at all. From a quick search, it looks like some other people have experienced this problem before, but I couldn't find whether this was a problem with my pad specifically or a known fault of the pad (most people reported their G-TF to stick perfectly).
The surface that I put the pad on was cleaned and dry, the pad itself is mostly dust-free, and the pad is completely flattened out at this stage, but it still refuses to stick to my desk.
Did anyone else in the TFTV community have this problem with the Zowie TF pads? If so, is there a way to fix it?

Try putting it on top of an old pad that does stick? Not ideal but it should work.

I am testing out a couple Zowie products right now. I found the same issue with the mouse pad. The quality of the pad is awesome but I found it sliding when I would whip my mouse quickly. Which essentially makes the crosshair or cursor not move. I put my old puretrak talent underneath it. It works well now. Maybe try tape?

Wow Zowie could fix that issue so easily just by adding a texture to the bottom of the mousepad lol.

Wow Zowie could fix that issue so easily just by adding a texture to the bottom of the mousepad lol.

Make the surface wet before putting the pad down, not really sure why you are doing it dry. In fact I think that on the box it comes in it says to moisten the surface. Then put something heavy on it and get all the air out and it will stick like glue.
Its actually like glue I can move my desk by pulling on the pad.
Edit: oh huh I looked at pyours picture and I see that it is textured, whereas the cm and tf pads are glossy on the bottom. Maybe it will work give it a shot
Edit 2: oh I see you are using a tf pad which AFAIK still have the glossy underside, so yeah just get it wet. Pyour, I have no idea how to fix whatever problem you are having with that pad

the base is kind of annoying. what phunk said works on g-tf. moisten + pressure.
mine sticks well enough dry by applying pressure for like 3 seconds, but its cause I have a metal desk I think.
with moisture it becomes one with my desk.
