ValveWe’re also working on things like competitive matchmaking, perf, balance improvements
ValveThis year, all newly selected Halloween-themed items will have NO restrictions put on them, and may be viewed year round.
I really hope there's not gonna be another MLP/Banana hat.

I honestly think that them actually telling us what they're doing and what they're thinking is a very nice idea.
and they specifically avoid lumping the stuff we want with the new update coming out this year...
I like it. but
This year, all newly selected Halloween-themed items will have NO restrictions put on them, and may be viewed year round. (So don't get too gross or out-there with your submissions.)
this is actually horrible, Usually Halloween items are obnoxious as fuck and change character silhouette way too much.

how does anyone in the universe think mannpower is good enough to get out of beta
More hats and skins and a new map before Matchmaking... Meh.
I wished they fixed hitboxes and hitreg like in csgo, maybe MM update will bring it [*]
Valvemoving Mannpower Mode out of beta with a new map.

maybe their plan is to make the halloween cosmetics less shitty this year
if it's the invasion collection none of them would really be too bad
if it's the invasion collection none of them would really be too bad
just give me them performance improvements and stop creating idiotic gamemodes ffs

That is stated at the end of it, so they'll still be different from usual cosmetics but let's hope what they mean by that is we won't see animal heads and zombies with distorted colors year round.

Wouldn't mind new weapons but at least they're letting us know what they're doing.
It seems the TF2 team learned from the mistakes of the Dota team when it came to Diretide. Hats off to them.

I love Banana hat

"a new campaign with contracts and weapon collections."
^ pretty good way to keep the gravy train running while mm is in the works. I'm glad this is going to continue... and maybe the skins will improve :)

the transparency with the devs recently is actually the greatest thing ever
Id rather they take their time than fuck up the best chance tf2 has had at becoming bigger

I think "perf" might be a possible optimization update
:D
:D
I love the TF2 Halloween update. I think it would really cool to maybe have a pl_thundermountain Halloween map. I have always enjoyed thundermountain and I think it is the most similar to plr_hightower which is my personal favorite Halloween map. But I agree that Valve should continue with their "big new update."
Maybe when MM finally breaks cover we can have a "Competitive Collection" with team logos on weapons.

I don't really recall the last major performance update being any good, so I'm not particularly excited about them mentioning it.

What does 'perf' mean? Does it actually mean performance?
