I feel like I've posted in this thread before probably but couldn't see my post skimming through so OH WELL FUCK IT

Vanguard: I was just getting into the band Flaming Lips, heard the song Race for the Prize, the word "vanguard" was in it and it was a word I didn't recognise which for me as a little English nerd was rare, so I looked it up and thought it sounded cool and had a cool meaning so when I had to come up with a username a few days later it stuck.

The DLK at the end that I have on TFTV and I think still on ETF2L: abbreviation of my first consistent online alias, darklightknight, a name which came mainly out of the fact that I was like 9.

(Also the first variant of my current name was Vanguard448 and the 448 came from the National Dex number of Lucario)

Why it started: I was playing my first lobby, felt uncomfortable, and aliased as "Don't Judge". Then I found out I wasn't totally awful at this game and removed the second half.

WahwahA toddler I used to watch pronounced "water" as "wahwah". An online friend also told me he pronounced it that way when he was little. I thought it sounded cute

my niece did the same thing, we have convenient stores called "Wawa" in PA, so we always thought she meant the store as a joke of course. In reality she just wanted water.

Originally called bl4ze, but after I discovered the legendary blaze from Froyotech I decided to change it. I used to be a pyro main (wtf was I thinking) and wanted something connected to fire 'n shit so I literally went to google translator to find out the strangest words connected to fire/hot things. Even though I no longer enjoy highlander, the name stuck.
