hey everyone
so, i started using default tf2 crosshair 1. i am loving it, but i am experiencing one problem. sometimes the crosshairs width is small and sometimes its large. is there no command to change that? do i have to press "ok" in multiplayer settings precisely when crosshair changes in the preview window?
thanks in advance

I've never heard of the size of a crosshair changing per class except when you're zoomed in on sniper or you have an Amabssador equipped, but you can try messing with cl_crosshair_scale and putting it in autoexec / class configs

make sure you don't have a class script changing it?

for crosshair 1, 2, and 6 (i think?) the crosshairgap will change up and down when in the crosshairs menu. that is the only way to change it, there is no console command.

Default is 32

iirc, you need to put your desired crosshair settings on your autoexec and never touch that multiplayer tab. This will leave the crosshair with a constant gap, however, you can't change it. If you go to the multiplayer tab and press "Apply", it will start changing.

couldn't you just put cl_crosshair_scale to each class ? (e.g. scout.cfg demoman.cfg)
if it's for each loadout
alias class_primary "cl_crosshair_scale "
alias class_secondary "cl_crosshair_scale "
alias class_melee "cl_crosshair_scale "
change "class" with the class you want and put it in the respective cfg.
+ put "cl_crosshair_file crosshair1" in your autoexec and avoid using multiplayer settings.

Oh, I never noticed that tbh, try putting "cl_crosshair_file crosshair1" in autoexec ?
