This is a terrible guide. Disabling many of these services will not only yield no performance boost, but will actively cause issues. Disabling bitlocker encryption service blindly if you've used it to encrypt data is a problem. The secondary logon service is used to elevate a generic user account to administrator access (think UAC and similar) and will cause issues if disabled. Routing and remote access is used for internet connection sharing.

I'm not going to list each service and why this is bad; just don't do this. If you want to disable some services to see the less than 1% gain you'll get on any multi-core PC, please do adequate research before blindly disabling potentially OS/network breaking services.

This list is not bad, but when it comes to disabling services we need to keep in mind that every user has different needs (as far as services are concerned).I personally would recommend using Black Viper's Guide to disabling windows services. http://www.blackviper.com/

It tells you which services you can disable safely in order to get better performance. I personally use his tweaks and have had a positive experience. If you want to use a more user friendly approach to disabling services you can always use the Razer Cortex program.
