I don't think you know this, but most people who have played him this season/previous seasons in ESEA wouldn't say that he was hacking. He is just generally a good player. Also you need ACTUAL evidence before posting stuff like this.
Tangyy
If this player has hacked repeatiatly in pubs, what's to keep him from doing it in a setting where winning actually matters?
He's not a retard, and he doesn't need to hack to make invite next season, and there is literally a world of difference between hacking in pubs and hacking in ESEA

GliderliasdeetrNo I have not, link? Am I wrong about projectile hacks not existing?liaswait how cheat as demo guy
Wouldn't hacks only work with hitscan?
have you seen bullets esea povs
There is auto-det for demoman.
Auto det, walls, knowledge of player HP and ammo situation, and yes there is projectile aimbot. The projectile aimbot though that I've seen is horribly obvious on demo when I've seen it.
Based on the SMAC, and his own admission, Hassasin has cheated on an alt in pubs. But if he is actively cheating in matches that's another story, and is probably the only thing that most people care about.

TangyyThis player also has a few screenshots showcasing some type of odd texture
Tangyy This is evidence of a wall/material hack. .
Tangyy don't look at the textures.

TangyyIn the third screenshot, it is completely red. This is evidence of a wall/material hack. Look up tf2 material hack on google images.
The red soldier model is called MATHacks, a vpk skin wallhack, making blu models red and red models green, which stopped working after steampipe.

don't people who actually play with him already know that he doesn't do it in serious environments?
TangyyThe evidence is the ban by the anti-cheat.
You guys are missing the point, don't look at the textures.
If this player has hacked repeatiatly in pubs, what's to keep him from doing it in a setting where winning actually matters? I'm not saying he should be banned just off of this, but people should be aware about this if looking to pick him up for a team.
Because we know hassassin as a person and I personally trust he'd never do this in a match or even a scrim. Now you may say that's naive or I'm defending him because he's my friend, but i have watched him play countless matches and I haven't once found him to be suspicious. And as far as I know, neither does anyone else he's played with or against.

You know esea has anti-cheat, so if he hacked there he would get caught.

people are a lot more likely to cheat in pubs than in a competitive environment
Duke_Of_The_JukeYou know esea has anti-cheat, so if he hacked there he would get caught.

It's about time someone finally called this guy out.
I've personally played against hassassin, and have been "blind det" numerous times.
a couple of suspicious kills he got during a few matches/scrims.
God or Hacker, you decide

I like hass so I am not accusing or commenting on him directly but I can't fucking understand the general mentality here. In all my years of online gaming, the TF2 community defends cheaters more than any other I have experienced.
This same exact argument was given for Insom when he was seen cheating. If someone is fucking cheating, it doesn't matter is it is a pub or not. Why do they need to cheat in an "official match" for people to care and make it punishable?
There is no gray area, the fucking player is cheating. End of story.

i've seen situations from this community b4 where they yelled at people for cheating in pubs and no where else, it's all dependent on who u guys like
it's pretty regarded as a bad move to bring a cheating allegation in public cause bias is always gonna put someone in their favor

I have never played, with or agaisnt this player and I spoke to him breifly in twitch chat today. Beyond this I have had no interactions with the player.
Cheating should be absolutely un-tolerated. It creates distrust and division within the competitive scene. I am not calling for a ban, I would just like people to know the facts. A SMAC ban is no laughing matter, and I personally am convinced that he has cheated in some form on his main account.
If it was a one time thing, I could understand. But I am seeing 2 instances of potential cheating, one being very convincing (the SMAC ban).

im not sure what distrust youre talking about considering every relevant player knows hassassin doesnt cheat

I was in the twitch chat as well. And although I'm just a nobody to 95-99 percent of everyone here, I've had (unfortunately), lots of experience with cheaters. So with that being said, I recall an instance where another person (the video is proof enough, and mind you i'm not trying to throw anyone under the bus), has done something similar. If this is in fact irrelevant to the situation at hand, then so be it.

Edit: all this is is simply a parallel example to what you've presented (from what I've perceived so far).

hooliESEA doesn't care if you cheat outside of ESEA servers.
As of a few months ago, isn't their anti cheat client supposed to be running 100% of the time on your computer? IIRC this is so people couldn't inject their hack then launch the client. If they care or not is one thing, but is their AC client supposed to detect any hack on your computer, regardless of if its used on official ESEA servers or not?
