-protobefore this thread i hadn't even heard of it, why is it being treated as some 100% accurate ban machine? even vac has made wrongful bans, and personally id trust the people who made the game over a high school student coding a 3rd party SERVER plugin at the back of his philosophy class. shaking my glyn as we speak...

Please stay on to the original intent of the thread. I do not want this to turn into a hackusation thread, this was meant to be purely informative.
If people are confused as to who to listen to, pay attention to smobo. He is a ugc admin and what he says is correct and all that really matters. To smobo, I think you should request some random demos from games at various points from the year and carefully analyze them.

Many people in the thread not only didn't seem to care, but even defended the ban since it was for CS:GO. It really opened my eyes on how people view cheaters.
When people actively decide to hack in games, what should their punishment be regarding competitive play?
