trashafter a bit of trial and error:

go find "mat_antialias" set it to 0. TF2 is now working fine for me

does not work for me, also tried using no hud or cfg and still crashing

edit: there was just an update that fixes the crashing

TF2 has another update. turned back on mat_antialias and restarted to check, now it's working perfectly fine with no hitches

No idea if it resulted from this update but I do not seem to be stuttering on a server with over 1000fps on mat_queue_mode 2 like I used to.

I'm pretty sure that would mean an engine update, which I highly doubt happened.

Someone should remake the xbox hud where everything is closer to the middle so people can see their hp and ammo easier with the default hud

damn the steam controller hud is pretty good

also after playing a bit with the steam controller, you can actually fucking rocket jump with it

you can't do wall jumps but you can normally rocket jump

in hudlayout, hudstopwatch doesnt do anything so i have no idea how i caused this
