My mom's a kindergarten teacher and often gets really weird stuff from her kids. One kid gave her size XXXL underwear (she's 5 foot, 90 lbs so the underwear was literally larger than her torso), a blindfold, deodorant, and a bag of airline peanuts for Christmas.

First year of doing Reddit Secret Santa. I've talked to my friends with how it's been for them in the past few years they've done it, and they loved it. They've received pretty cool stuff and are always super hyped up for it each year.

I gave it a shot this year for the first time. I spent close to $100 on the guy I was supposed to buy for (there's no hard limit on minimum or maximum, but the average is roughly $30. I guess I went a little overboard, lol). The guy loved his gifts, etc.

All I get from my Secret Santa is this <$5 plastic New Jersey Devils license plate frame. I didn't even mention if I had a car or not. I listed a bunch of things I'm interested in, and I very briefly mentioned "I like hockey, but I don't think I really want/need anything. My favorite team is the New Jersey Devils."

I guess it could have been worse, but I'm absolutely not going to use it, lol.
