im getting the g400, which is onsale for $30 very soon. and i want to try to keep my current sens off of my default/stock mouse. anyone know what dpi settings default mice usually have?

If it's an OEM/stock mouse, the default dpi can be anywhere from 400dpi-1000dpi (from what I've seen). If you don't know the name, look up the model/product number on the bottom of the mouse (it's there), and you'll find what you're looking for on a spec sheet.
