I like France's flag

I'm partial to the Gonzales "Come and Take It" flag used by Texian settlers during the Great Texian Revolution. It wasn't ever the Republic's national flag, but I believe it was used by revolutionaries during the war.

The Texan one is great, The American-Mexican war is full with interesting stories, like the one of the Irish catholic brigade who fought with their former Texan neighbours. A sad thing though, is that some really bland looking flags have great backstory on their origin, but are pretty unknown, like corsica or the flag of Louvain, which is boring white field with two red stripes which is basically like austria but the (false) legend says, it refers to a battle with vikings which was so bloody, it made both sides of the local river the dijle turn red on a snowy field.
