Full Tilt claimed a well earned bronze last season, but have returned to active duty to find themselves the number two team in Europe thanks to the departure of #tf2center. Sulky star soldier, Silentes, has relegated himself to the bench with an apparent lack of motivation creating a temporary opportunity for pocket of the season, Tek, to play.

Based on last seasons results you would not be expecting much from their opponents, Planet Express, who finished a disappointing 5-8th in the High Tier having lost out to bitter rivals, ownage squad, in the tightest of Quarter Finals. Huge changes have been made to that losing roster with only sheepy dog's hand and iikq remaining.

The new Planet Express has been making waves in the pre-season, particularly p-rez, the latest hotshot scout stallion to bolt from the Italian stables. Unfortunately (or fortunately) none of the maps that featured in PlEx's big Preseason Cup win made it in to the S23 map pool, but results from practise show that these boys are definitely here to contend in 2016.

With roster turbulence at Full Tilt and Planet Express going from strength to strength it really wouldn't be hard to envisage an upset on the cards here. Full Tilt's hard carry, Astt, is hard countered by p-rez, so unaided Sideshow is almost certain to drop a 40 bomb (deaths of course).
