I was kind of hoping the thread wouldn't start to devolve into memes and/or a sudden downfrag bomb into negative votes. After all of this time, I really wish I could get an answer to this question--why? Am I so hated in this community that no one can talk to me or reference me into a meme? Did I do something wrong or act like a jerk to someone?

It really blows when no one in any regard will take you seriously. This stigma around me has stopped me from getting tryouts for teams, it's made general team searching near impossible, making friends is a lot more difficult and I can't even play on a team where people don't repeat my name over and over for quick laughs. I don't think I'm a hugbox but I don't think I'm a jerk either, and I'm not a bad player, so why? I know the whole "xd just walk away from your monitor thing" happens, but this has gone on for years and it really sucks not to have anyone help you out or even give me the courtesy of letting me know why I have to get shit on every step I take, especially when it makes the experience worse for a game you really care about.

Like, even bobby/ender joining in with that twitch thing? I can't even comment on that.

I don't know much about Yipyappers skill, but everything I've heard/experienced from the guy has been nothing but positive, even took some time after my HL team scrimmed his to give us some advice, his attitude is top notch, kinda unfortunate he gets meme'd on.

I haven't been around Yip in a while but when I was he was an extremely chill dude. Not only does he deserve no hate but he is extremely willing to improve based on what i've seen this season. If you read any memes here ignore them and give this dude a chance.

I haven't known Yipyapper very long, but I'm currently a sub on his HL team. Every encounter I've had with him has been very positive. He seems down to earth, smart, and has a very soothing voice is great at map reviews/strat talks. I can't specifically speak for his skill on demo, but people who use their brain in the game are always better pickups than those who don't. +vouch

Yipyapper is my boy he is an amazing demo really surprised I didn't see him in IM this season but he should definitely be in IM this upcoming season. His DM in general is amazing everytime I have played him he has destroyed me everytime I turn into a DM mongoloid holding w into him. Good luck with finding a team Yipyapper.

I've never played against him in anything that wasn't a pug, so I can't really talk about his skill level (I'm a nobody anyways). But I can say that anyone who's ever played with him can tell he's genuinely nice person and has an insanely good attitude. Really pleasant to be around, any serious teams should definitely consider picking him up

It seems people in the community dislike yipyapper because of the people he used to hang around with when he is actually a really chill guy and a good player. He's a solid pick up, if you don't pick him up you're making a mistake.

Yipyapper is cool and a fragger give him a good team.

The first time I played against yipyapper in 6's i was genuinely surprised by how good he was at demo, considering I had never seen him play the class before. Yipyapper is a good guy, dedicated to improvingt, and his voice is very soothing as well. Pick him up!
