My TF2 keeps crashing plz help =c

After the recent updates it seems as though I cannot start TF2 without it crashing. Upon starting the game and getting past the intro video, I see a white box in the top left corner and then immediately crash. Any ideas on what the problem could be? I use Comanglia's Config and Slin's HUD. Keep in mind that this only started happening after the recent updates and my TF2 was working fine before.

Update your hud to a functional hud (one that has been updated recently as in like past 24 hours)

Any ideas on how to fix it / what I need to update? I really like my hud and don't really want to have to transfer all the elements again =c

I followed the steps of this guide but it still seems like my TF2 is crashing. Is the guide on this page supposed to stop my TF2 from crashing or is it just to get the HUD updated to MM?

hey that guide is 2 weeks old, and there were some changes that just had effect starting today

wait like 1-2 days and I am sure either there will be a guide posted on this forum or by omni on huds.tf like he did with the broken scoreboard
