i stepped down to play med revy broke my legs so i couldnt get up and play demo

"ps. revy you've got a lot to work on in the future, like how you treat teammates, other teams, practicing, playing your role, calling, making space. I've given you shit before about it and I won't prolly stop at the rate it's coming but I believe you'll be better in the future if you actually put effort towards improving on it."

he has ok dm but that's literally it, doesn't call pushes well, can't take criticism, isn't willing to adapt well. He doesn't do demo reviews, hasn't improved over the season. Expect a gunboats pocket to take 35%+ heals and play roamer. He will not change, at least over the next season. I've played 3 different games at a competitive level for the last 5 years of my life and revy has been by and far the worst person I've played with. If you do manage to pick him up for whatever reason then be willing to deal with someone who flames others and never faults himself, or listens to what other people suggest, a pocket who takes more heals and ubers than anyone else by and far(I got ubered in 4 times the entire 16 matches I played while he took in most), someone who doesn't know how to properly make space for other classes, and someone who bases skill explicitly on statistic and unwilling to consider the impact of plays he makes(i.e. getting a ton of damage with more heals than anyone else while bming others who takes not as much heals comparatively and having 0 good holds or pushes with those heals). Rather than helping a teammate of ours get better early on, he cut him with no permanent replacement in mind( something that happened a lot with our roster) and had fatswimdude paying for most people that joined. He also put in a demo friend of his immediately on our roster without our team's consent and didn't offer to try anyone else out.

TL:DR: Don't pick him up. The cons heavily outweigh the pros.

micro'd when i rang for a past team of his and was constantly muted by admins in pugs back in the day but i havent had an experience with him in a few months

ive pugged with revy, hes got decent dm, he got alot of work to do as in fitting in with a team, hes a bit of a downer sometimes. But i feel like he can really improve so i say give him a chance he can play at least mid open. :)

In the end, I only played with him for a little while, so I only know what I experienced in that short time, but here's what I took from it.

• He really does have good DM, will frag and put out more damage than a lot of pockets
  
• Will need a medic who can keep him on a leash, if you don't have a medic who is assertive/intelligent, it's hopeless and he'll frag what he wants
  
• Can main call pretty well

As for the attitude issue addressed in this thread, he's always been nice to me, a cool guy all around and even if he can get a little bit mad at the game, he is a good communicator and leader IMO.

Ultimately the guy is worth trying out, but he needs a certain type of team to shine, which I think he's capable of doing.
