I introduced a rl postaldude friend to the community in 2009 and he is still part of it and playing with people from CnB,
ps: MN, just ditch your admin team, especially ninjamoocow, who is probably bipolar or something, because normal people don't act the way he does. bans me for "not speaking english and trolling" for using a saying in latin, bans me again a few weeks later becuase i told him it's a bit rash permbanning regular prem players for having tf2stadium in their name, get banned again for "repeated trolling". Petty, irrational, and power tripping, like a modern day Caligula.

There is no doubt that top level players could come into your average center lobby and play any class in the game and do extremely well, but what is learned from that? We're trying to foster an environment where people can play and learn how to play the game at a higher level, a bridge to the competitive format.
Getting beat by better, more experienced, players is inevitable, but with offclassing restrictions at least you will be able to learn and develop by seeing how these players win and take advantage of the established meta. The same cannot be said about excessive offclassing, as it is not something you will normally encounter at a high level of play.
There is something to be said for exploring the meta of TF2, and I'm always for creative and interesting new ways to play, but for now we can't justify that style of play, as we do not have the tools to moderate it, yet.

I regret the posts I made yesterday involving Dishsoap and others, and they do not reflect upon my abilities as a mod. Yes, I've done things wrong, but I do my best to correct them. I wish to see TF2C become a place that everyone can enjoy, and once our forums are back up, I'll do my best to actively work with other mods to achieve this. I've been taking in reasons why people dislike TF2C, and I have come up with some changes I wish to see, which I will post in our moderator forum.
Honestly like 90% of the problems with TF2C would be remedied if you could convince your fellow admins/mods to act professionally around others and not dilute themselves into children when some mongoloid on a forum calls them a retard or when someone gives them criticism or something.

You can't really disagree with that though. Would you scrim against a team that runs a permaspy or a permapyro? People wanna play 6s, not get stomped by some bored 8000h guy playing permapyro. There's a constructive way of losing, and there's losing to a team with 3 offclasses just because they're better than you in every way. Just because someone is new and not as good as you, it doesn't give you the right to humiliate them and toy with them. If you think you're too good to play a 6s class in a 6s lobby, then don't play lobbies. Don't ruin the experience for other people.
That being said, I don't think permasnipers should be banned if they're doing work since the past few seasons of prem have shown that sniper is a viable class in almost any situation, and it's something you have a good chance of encountering in serious games/officials so you should learn how to deal with it.
Shit like pyro or spy to mid is just aids though.
