scan is insane and a lot of heroes I think are op were practically untouched. vanguard for abyssal is strange.

also is anyone else getting tired of icefrog adding his meme aghanhims upgrades every patch? the earthshaker one is fine but storm mirana and all these others are honestly so useless.

also still trying to figure out if late-game AM builds are any different with this abyssal change. that items got no damage now

Abyssal wasnt really about the damage for am, it was more let me lock you down and manta, burn 80000 mana and nuke the shit out of you

Also good high ground defense lineups and every techies game ever is gonna be ultra gay w that armor shit. New pa dagger could be pretty beast

they didnt address any of the real problems, which was the comeback gold mechanics (bounty hunter)
also having more items that solve being/playing stupid makes the game less bearable b/c its less punishing. but hey at least reddit got rid of the destruction of the pub combos which is ok

i think people are going to begin picking more abaddon against bh, shield is really good against the track.
also just played my first game on the new patch and wind lace is pretty insane good

edit: scan also isn't as good as people thought it would be

Scan is just more things for monkeys in pubs to use incorrectly like gylph. Shouldn't change the pub scene at all or at the very least under like high 6k games.

IMO, complaining about AGHS upgrades that are minor is dumb considering every hero should have an aghs sceptre upgrade no matter how underwelming since it would allow alch to toss u an alch late. Theres most likely always going to be an item thats better than aghs on a lot of these heroes anyways.

im playing test client so if anyone wants 2 play feel free to add me.

Other than abyssal none of the items were completely changed, and the new ones (other than hurricane pike) don't seem that huge (I could be wrong on this, echo sabre may be a thing on bashers/Sven). Spell scaling is probably the most overrated change this patch and in most games will be around a 10% damage buff. Might as well buy a veil. Level 1 hp change ends up being 35-45 actually and may be the most important change. Anyways compared to recent patches this is basically nothing so I don't see what you mean.

It's kinda ridiculous how many items have been added in the last few patches. There's gotta be a limit to how many items are in the game (unless shop gets revamped/a new page).

Still though, having innate spell amp is really weird. It's not that big of a deal yet since it scales at 75% unless they have -magic resist, but it's going to be possible to stack INT and be viable (and Silencer is going to be more annoying).

lich is pretty wild with denying half of a creep wave xp

nukers are great mid, feel like blight stone roamers will crush them

if u havent noticed chillytoad is trying to extend the avg game time so that we can "enjoy" close, long games, which is why hes adding new items and mechanics.

Honestly this patch feels so weird, like a mod of dota 2 in a lot of ways with these items.

Was really hoping for more shadow fiend buffs but wishful thinking I guess considering he was viable for like 20 patches before 6.86.

Also invokers nerfs are not actually that hard, he still has insane int growth but at least cold snap is purgable so you can't just run someone down with forged spirits + cold snap.
