get your scrim from discord by waiting 5 minutes then wait another 5 minutes for those people to jion the server also your not guaranteed as good a scrim cuz some low open team could see you post IM team lf scrims and be like "that'd be some good experience for us to play against better players.

A bunch of hackers aliasing in Discord/IRC. Or a group of IM players off-classing and dicking around and an open team won't know any better. Scheduling can lead to the best potential scrims + more reliable timing. If someone leaves randomly, that is a negative for both irc and scheduling. I understand the convenience of just being able to pop up into a chat and asking for a scrim, but it's much nicer to schedule something in advance and know it's reliable instead of praying that the random you messaged in irc isn't an asshole.
