With the ESEA registration deadline fast approaching, dog2, which won the community poll and thus was moved up into Invite, has disbanded. Players within the team cited internal complications as the ultimate reason for the demise of the team.

With Aeonic already having been moved up to replace Luca Goers, ESEA admins have chosen to fill the vacancy with Rambo Spec. Since its appearance in the community poll as Getawhale Rodeo Club, the team has made a number of changes, including adding xattuu to complete the roster.

Team captain Dagger discussed the sudden change of division with teamfortress.tv:

We're all excited to be moved up, as it was our original plan to play in Invite. The competition is tough this season, even more than last, but we know we are capable of competing with at least the lower end of the division. Last season was a bit of a mess, so in building this team we wanted to put together people that are confident callers and capable of improving and working together as a team, and I think we've done just that. We have a lot to prove this season, but we're confident that we can pull out some wins, even if it's just froyotech that we're pulling out of.
