That looks like missing texture magenta, so my guess would be that either you have a missing/corrupt texture file (color_panel_blue maybe) or that it's using a colour that isn't defined in clientscheme.res. So first, try verifying game cache. If it says that all files validated, then see if maybe it uses a colour that isn't in your clientscheme.

I validated game files, didn't work. I fixed the client scheme and still nothing, and I updated the tournament spectator files. Also they don't even use the correct color class images. What even is the res file for it anyways.

duck_ as mentioned before by me and by Medico you most likely messed up the image/border/colors for TFFatLineBorderBlueBG in clientscheme.res

I recently got rayshud and switched from cerbelica to tf2 build and now everything is a bit too big. Does anyone know the sizes in proportion to each other(crap grammer) for ex. a 7 in cerbelica is a 5 in tf2 build.

what do i need to edit/remove to make this work for casual? A lot of my hud is based off of the default hud files and I just want to get this changed for aesthetic reasons

and then vgui_drawtree 1
it just allows you to see different hud elements and stuff, there is prob someone with more knowledge that can better explain what all it does and can do. I just use it to get a better idea of what element Im working on

go to a private server and type in console sv_cheats 1
and then vgui_drawtree 1

another question: what do I need to change to increase the drop shadow in my winpanel so that it extends all the way down to past the killstreak?

1. You can edit this in file called "HudHealthAccount"
2. ok so Im getting a weird glitch where my health numbers separate from the health number shadow when I get below a certain health and then heal. It happens at the cabinet and with health packs. I recorded it to see what its happening:

it only happens when my health is low enough to change to the low health color and then I get health from something
any ideas on what could cause this? It also happens randomly when I join a server or respawn as well
edit - it is also happening when I get overhealed from a medic
edit 2 - it didnt start happening until I raised my health numbers and ammo up higher

the only things i could imagine would cause this is your HudHealthDyingPulseStop and HudHealthBonusPulse moving health numbers somehow, youve probably checked your hudanimations but if you havent go look if theres a movement animation there
also i guess look for leftover minmode positions and such in hudplayerhealth.res
also you seem to be asking what files edit what a bit, if u dont already u should use doodles hud resource files list and hudlayout.res resource list for a (slightly outdated) list of what edits what

@Pert as f2f said: check your HudHealthBonus/DyingStop animation events, on 'reset' they for some reason reposition your health, for something as simple as changing colors you should not be messing with ypos stuff in those animations.

Apologies if this has already been answered here before, but I've been trying to make a custom HUD for some time now, and while I was trying to update it for Meet Your Match, I noticed that the SpectatorTargetID would be in the wrong place (not above the target's head) or not present at all. I tried messing around with the SpectatorGuiHealth.res file, I even deleted it and started it from scratch but the issue is still there. Can anyone help me?

It looks like you have floating health numbers disabled
tf_hud_target_id_disable_floating_health 0 should be the command to replace the value above the player's head. Then you can go and edit the file to your liking.
