i've seen a couple of people on /r/tf2 who have claimed to be prem players in eu, who when I've looked them up/asked around, there's 0 evidence of them playing anything remotely high level. To me it's always sounded like the classic "I'm actually 9k/global/challenger but my team is holding me down and that's why noone listens to me, maybe if i tell them what my TRUE skill level is they'll truly understand how much better I am"

It's pretty lame that I can't join a friend mid game anymore, and I can't just join a doublecross game whenever I feel like it. I think this is overall a legitimate complaint.

But it still doesn't mean "This update was about removing player choice"
