Having said that, I definitely don't think there was enough player representation. Particularly from Europe.

There are a lot of weapons that seem like a bad idea but it's worth trying. I would say this is a step in the right direction and could end up shaping the new 6s.

I guess I shouldn't be so critical and overall I am a believer in the "Stop whining about what the enemy is using and find a solution" but of all the things to unban, adding the Solemn Vow to the list of weapons that are banned seems odd.

Mid point to lower part of catwalk if crouched at end of jump.
Yard to shed without jumping on the tank thingy.

the overpowered part about the atomizer isn't that you can do winger + atomizer jumps
it's that you now have a scout with perma 185 cuz his medic runs at the same speed as him, dodging every rocket and pipe and prolly not even dying to stickies because with the demo nerf + the triple jump he has infinite time to move slightly out of the way and even change direction twice in midair
soldier and demo are slowly becoming relatively meaningless

largely good changes. played with this whitelist last night. we won running a very standard lineup + demo using loch n load and quickie bomb. this won't change much other than the casual community's perception of us.
things i'm a bit concerned about:
-atomizer (though it gives me an excuse to run shotgun again WOOO)
-rescue ranger (though it isn't particularly good after the nerf a few months ago)
-gunslinger (though it is pretty easily countered)
-jarate (though having a sniper close enough to throw it is kinda a feed)
largely good changes. played with this whitelist last night. we won running a very standard lineup + demo using loch n load and quickie bomb. this won't change much other than the casual community's perception of us.

Spend 20 minutes practicing with the lochnload and see if scoutany class is still a problem.
EDIT: Good luck finding people willing to practice against lochnload demo in MGE or DM though... Although that might change now.

One positive to take from this is Valve will have some actual data in games played other than MM and pubs to balance around. Some of these unlocks are questionable tbh but curious to see if it is really being blown out of proportion.

A lot of the same complaints being made about the cleaver (banned) are also applicable to the Wrap Assassin (newly unbanned), which might be worth looking into if the Atomizer gets cut.
