Found a team for the time being. Fun times to come :)
I just wanted to say, the times i played with milan he seemed like a bad person, but its been a while and considering he has made a new thread I believe he might have changed. I believe we should stop trash-talking him for a while and just see how it goes.
well.... he is persistent, altho if he persists his retardedness and ego then theres nothing left to say that hasnt been said
Mojo_da_Kiddbeing mean to the mentally disabled is a sin.

tbh I've played with like 10+ people more toxic and retarded than milan, pm me if you need names
edit: not saying he isn't a retard, he's just not that bad, AND he's pretty good for his first esea season

strong confident calls. not something you see every day. keep on grindin
Met this dude once and never want to talk to him again. Only good thing I can say is his DM is decent and by decent I mean he can do well in lobbies, whatever that entails...
He has pretty fucking good rocket aim (because he just plays the game all day) and has miles of potential.
p.s. I'm not saying that because I like him + I have no idea how he is on a team, but from what monkeysuit already said (and we messaged about a couple days ago), he probably isnt a bad pick up at all for an open team if he cools it with the ego and has the right mindset.

Good DM, bad gamesense, but is honestly better than like 80% of the open players that shit talk him. should probably play on a team that already has a main caller that can tell him what to do so he can learn how to play this game.
if he dropped his ego he could be a decent teammate

I didn't really know Milan or have any interactions three months ago when his reputation seemed to be at its worst but I was aware of the criticisms people had as I tried out for Ziggurat over the past couple weeks. Granted they were limited scrims but I honestly saw no issues of toxicity from Milan. Maybe he comes across as a bit blunt but he kept his cool and I think he's genuinely working on fixing his reputation.
In-game, I'd definitely say his strength is his DM and it's good enough to get him by for now. Definitely better than most open and some IM soldiers. A weakness I saw was that he plays very aggressively, likes to go for plays, so sometimes he'll rush it or try to do something without coordinating it concisely with his team and so he'll take his share of avoidable deaths. With a little more polishing on his communication and gamesense, he'll be a really strong soldier though. I was also impressed by how eager he was to review demos of tryout scrims immediately after.
All in all, I think Milan is a risk worth taking for teams in need of a soldier. There is a lot of potential there if he is truly changed for the long term and continues to accept the criticisms towards him.

Keith pretty much said everything right. Apparently he must have been the biggest shit head to earn his rep but since I never knew him back then I can't hold it against him. When I've pugged and scrimmed with him he's been pretty much nothing but nice and pleasant (Canadian virtues?). He has a good attitude and has the right tools to be either pocket or roamer. His actual experience is very limited but considering that he's super good for where he is. Yeah some of the cohesion and main calling won't be ideal until a bit more experience comes his way but that's how it goes. At least he's vocal and trying which is a lot more than many other people do. He understands his shortcomings and isn't utterly oblivious.
I don't condone being the one weak player (due to captaining) in the middle of an invite pug nor any of the other shifty pug behaviors but that stuff seems to be well in the past. People like to pick fights and attack him over nothing at al and one common thing I hear is that he's a bad captain. I'm sure there have been some trash games (who hasn't had those?) but his captain record is overwhelmingly positive. It's an objective fact that he tends to pick good teams that win.
He's High open/Low IM capable and deserves your tryout and consideration.

im sure he has more drive and potential than 90% of the people who trashed him in this thread

he deserves a team that doesn't die on him for once. Try him out.
My current team isn't scrimming with the main players as often as i'd like due to irl commitments which I was told about when i joined them however i let the leader know I wasn't enjoying my time and will play with them unless i get offered a spot on a better team with chill people. So bumpin the thread.
called odb a n**ger and called me fuck when he joined our empty mge server and refused to remove from badlands mid
idk what that says about his character but he has good rockets

Yeaahhh.... I don't believe that one bit unless Milan has some serious bipolar disorder shit that he keeps very well hidden. I hung out with Milan every day for weeks and he is consistently nice and chill. He doesn't go out of his way to shit talk people (like perhaps he used to?). I could totally see it reversed with viper actually saying this stuff or him coming on here just to make up random shit. Also odb has many, many years under his belt of being a horrible asshole. I would suggest to anyone that, when reading a controversial person's lft thread, to take all posts with a grain of salt. Some people love to sling shit and farm plus frags.
I'll say again that this dude is cool and good and you should not pass up the chance to try him out and learn that for yourself.

I've only met Milan a few times and while he wasn't bad he is incredibly toxic and rude, even when you attempt to be nice to him.
