ETF2L Season 25 Premiership teams announced

European TF2 league ETF2L has revealed the teams that will be competing in Season 25 Premiership and also the Pre-Season Premiership Playoffs.

The kings will march back towards their homeland for another war (picture by Crowns eSports Club)

The teams that have received a spot in the Premiership are:

Crowns eSports Club
LEGO
top5rocket

Crowns and LEGO will be the two teams that are staying in the Premiership from last season, with the former having a world championship title at Insomnia58 last August, and the later placing 2nd in ETF2L Season 24 playoffs. Last but not least, top5rocket will be the new kids on the block, having being promoted to the Premiership after winning ETF2L Season 24 High.

That leaves only five spots open for the Premiership, and they will be determined via the Pre-Season Premiership Playoffs. The teams that will compete in the promotion tournament are:

Comfortably Spanked
Danger Dogs
Stevie Wonder’s Aim School
Thanks Nursey

The list includes notable teams such as Comfortably Spanked, the only team on the list that is returning from Season 24 Premiership, and 3/6, who placed 1st in the open group at Insomnia58 and placed 7th-8th in the playoffs.

The schedule for the Pre-Season Playoffs is as follows:

Monday, September 12th, 21:15 CEST

Match 1: Comfortably Spanked vs. Animate
Match 2: Thanks Nursey vs. Danger Dogs

The winners of Match 1 & 2 will qualify for the Premiership.

Tuesday, September 13th, 21:15 CEST

Match 3: Loser of Match 1 vs. 3/6
Match 4: Loser of Match 2 vs. Stevie Wonder's Aim School

The winners of Match 3 & 4 will qualify for the Premiership.

Wednesday, September 14th, 21:15 CEST

Match 5: Loser of Match 3 vs. Loser of Match 4

The winner of Match 5 will qualify for the Premiership, while the loser will be relegated to the High divison.

The ETF2L Season 25 Premiership is scheduled to start on September 18.

ETF2L and ESEA are two different leagues, you can play both. For example Thaigrr is playing in ESEA Intermediate this season.

Also, AMS on scout and Sero returns to the game? So many weird changeups in EU.

I know. I'm just getting at the fact that it is an even bigger time commitment, but Nursey told me in another thread that it is not a big time commitment as they only scrimmed twice a week.
