Pretty good, might be a bit heavy for some but I'm just glad Logitech seem to be steering away from mice that look like spaceships.

And hopefully this will start forcing other manufactures to bring out some other high quality products.

The G Pro is so good and with this I don't know how others will compete.

is this the real g400s successor that people are looking for?

logitech said the g402 was the successor to the g400s but it looked nothing alike and a lot of people said it wasn't similar either

The g402, to me, felt pretty similar besides that horrible sniper button even though it looked a lot different.

This looks a lot more like the ec/da/fnatic flick and a little like the mionix avior. Doesn't look g400 like.

I know this sounds like I'm shilling but I'm curious how other companies will be able to hold up against Logitech now since they've been releasing some excellent stuff lately. Hopefully the competition will drive further improvements from other brands

It's not even shilling. I've been a HUGE Zowie fanboy for years now, and the past three mice Logitech have put out have looked heads and shoulders above everyone else.

The three mice basically have G303 internals w/ the sensor and buttons w/o the autistic shape + It's very obvious that Logitech has been making an effort to go more "zowie-ish" in their mouse design with no frills and unneeded buttons.

It's been a tough past week convincing myself not to drop $70 on the G403 even with a perfectly working EC2-A.

From a technical aspect yeah. Same weight(as the wireless version), more buttons, unlockable scroll wheel. Practically speaking though the shapes are different and if you prefer ergo over ambi then the g403 will be the better mouse. I currently use a g900 and am very excited to dump it for the g403.

can someone with the wireless version of this mouse test low sens rocket jumping ?
20in/360 ?
will the low sens be affected by the wireless factor ?

It works perfectly even on a glass mousepad that most mice can't track well on.

Wireless doesn't affect tracking speed, it tracks just fine up to 7 m/s and above even.

A friend of mine bought the G403-prodigy and I got to try it out, can't say anything else but it's amazing. I never had such experience where it's 1:1 in tracking and so on.

bought the g403, sold it on the same day i got it :(
best mouse ive ever used, blows my ec1-a out of the park
simple and practical software
great construction from the mouse cable, to the buttons, to the mouse wheel, the only thing that got me a bit aprehensive were the mouse feet but those are always replaceable.
perfect tracking with a great shape, the shape is so good that made me think that maybe a smaller mouse like the ec2-a might be better for me.
the improvement on the buttons input lag that seems to curse zowie mice was apparently really noticeable for me maybe placebo idk but the logitech mice always had extremely responsive buttons
the only major downside that made it unusable to me was the thumb rest space, i kept accidentally hitting the mouse4 button, even playing with a bent thumb every now and them an accidental press and after awhile of playing i really couldnt take it anymore. Its the second mouse i had to resell due to this shit, the other being the mionix castor, they make mouse4/5 giant buttons when they could be so much smaller, maybe i´m being picky idk its personal preference/limitation ...
got a few codes for a free mousepad and 20% discount and free express shipping from the logitech store

Coming from a zowie za11 the g403 feels really odd in my hand (haven't measured them but I would say I have somewhat big hands). Anyways, I've only used it for an hour or so but it feels like i have nowhere to put my pinky finger and it just drags along the surface of the mousepad. With the za11 there's a little lip to put your ring finger under that i feel like lets me grip the mouse a lot better.

Basically I'm in a dilemma cause on one hand I really like the fact that the g403 is wireless and has a nice scroll wheel (the za11's scroll wheel was so bad that I justified buying a new mouse just to not have to use it) but I feel like it doesn't fit in my hand correctly. I guess my question is should I just use it more and test to see if my hand gets used to it or should i just return it and buy another za11 or some other mouse?

I thought that the g403 was bigger than the g pro and that it would be good for palm grip but it feels really awkward to me so maybe it's just not the right fit for me?

they re-released the wireless g403 (now called the g703) and the g900 (now called the g903) so they can charge wireless while playing, if you can afford a special mousepad for it http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/powerplay-wireless-charging

I bought a normal wired 403 this week and it's the best mouse I've ever used, highly recommend it if you're still on the fence about it

Its a great mice but the default mouse feet are horrible depending on your mousepad. i was using it with a qck + and a qck heavy and the pad basically felt and sounded like sandpaper, so be on the lookout for that
