you can't because shappie is not going to play this season, I heard he will not be available for 5 weeks, so instead of finding a merc for 5 officials and qualifiers they went with smirre.

I will be back in 2 weeks. I am able to play 3 evenings per day, but talked with my boss WAR, and he would like to stay with Smirre, for better team chemistry and teamwork. But I might play some officials regarding, easy ones where I can't throw.

seriously who decided on this

I decided on the prices. I had some help from people in the LEGO mumble, but there are definitely a lot of people which I have little to no idea how well will perform. You also have to remember that skill is not the deciding factor when evaluating prices, stats are. You get a lot of points for winning matches, so good players on losing teams will not be worth much, whereas a mediocre player on a winning team will be worth a lot more (hence why Neo is "overrated").

Under-pricing new-comers and players on the bottom teams also means that the deciding skill in building the best team is realizing who the steals are, as opposed to just stacking your team with as many players from the top teams as possible. There are also a ton of roster shuffles happening each season, usually concentrated near the bottom of the tables, so buying the cheap players is slightly more risky IMO.

If you guys want to help me out, please contact me if your team is making any roster changes and post the logs to the match page. I won't always be around to submit the results immediately. If you have any comments or questions regarding the fantasy league don't hesitate to let me know. Enjoy!
