I don't really know alot about mechanical switches, all i know is i want it to be extremely easy-to-click and make clicky noises, because i'm really lazy and my fingers begin to get tired after a while of typing/gaming.

Price range around 100 usd.

Also i had a razer widowmaker stealth once, and the keys were extremely wobbly and shaky and i hated that, so i want sturdy keys on this one.

both of these are solid entry level mechanical keyboards. They work well and wont break your bank.

Just so you know, you said you wanted it to be clicky but cherry mx reds aren't clicky. Blues are the most common clicky switched but reds will be easier to click. So if you value the audible click more get blues, but if you care more about how easy they are to click, get reds. Switches are most important as they will determine the feel of the keyboard, so I'd just get any of the cooler master or corsair keyboard with switches of your choice.

Plain white mechanical 60% (so all the function keys are in the number row) and no Numpad, but it's a great typer. You can pick between Cherry blue, black, and brown switches ("Compare to Similar Items") if you have a preference, but for ~45 dollars including shipping it's a great budget keyboard if you don't mind getting used to no numpad. The only negative I have against it is that to use the HOME and END keys you have to press function key + PGUP/PGDN but it took me a few days to get used to it.

Bonus: comes with a USB -> micro USB converter so you can use it/a mouse with your phone or tablet.

You're probably going to want a tenkeyless keyboard or smaller if you're just using it for gaming and some typing. Based on what you had described as your preferred keyswitch type, cherry mx blues are most likely what you're going to be looking for. However, cherry mx browns offer the same thing as blues, but without the click you're used to hearing. The click is still audible to some degree but not as much as blues.

Ducky and cooler Master make excellent products and will surely be a great buy if you're not that worried about watching 2,000 reviews over keyboards. The corsair K65 is an excellent product but if you're going to be travelling to lans or places with your keyboard I'd recommend another keyboard that has a detachable cable.

However if you're going with a full size keyboard there's a ton more options (although I and many others would recommend against it because desk space is a beautiful thing). The K70 vengeance from corsair will not disappoint if that's what you're looking at. Also ducky and some cooler Master keyboards will also hold up very well.

go with this

cm storm's pretty good to buy keyboards from. the magicforce (qisan) is also pretty good but some people don't like 60/65% boards.

if you want a full-size keyboard and don't mind going a little bit over budget, look into ducky keyboards.

I have to use compact keyboards for gaming because I hold my keyboard at a strange angle that makes full-size keyboards hang off my desk.

I use this:
Corsair Vengeance -- 100$

another option below is basically the same keyboard but a little cheaper and in Cherry

Corsair Vengeance (Cherry) -- 70$

I have had no trouble at all with this keyboard and it has performed better than any I have had in the past.

gateron switches are typically better than cherry for linear switches
browns and clears are the best if you don't want linear switches, clears being heavier than browns
avoid backlight like the plague, literally no reason to have it and it makes ur keyboard cost way more

Yeah, the cost per key isn't that bad but the keycaps are far more costly because of how complicated they are to make, so backlit is way more expensive.

I have had this for two years now and it has been a great keyboard so far with no issues. You can get it with brown or blue switches, and its tenkeyless which is great if you are short on desk space. Only issues I have had with it is that its a bitch to clean. Most of the buttons come off easily enough but the space bar and I think the shift, enter, and backspace keys all have a little metal bar on the underside of the key which you have to snap into tiny plastic clips so they keys don't wobble around. Beyond that though its a great keyboard, and if you have amazon prime its 95 dollars.

Big keyboard nerd here:

Don't get Corsair boards if little things like key wobble annoy you because those things have the shittest key caps and a non-standard bottom row so aftermarket not-shit keycaps are hard to find and usually require you to buy extra add-on kits along with the standard to kit to get every key. Cooler Master and Ducky seem to have the best caps, with Cooler Master using thick ABS keycaps (cheaper plastic that wears away after a few months, leaving greasing smooth caps) and Ducky using PBT keycaps (more expensive plastic usually only found on aftermarket keycap sets. A big bonus to include these out of the box. They're more textured and won't wear away pretty much forever (source: used 3 decade old Model Ms with no obvious texture degradation)). Corsair seems to have Reddit enamored with their boards but honestly Razer boards have better caps IMO.

On the subject of key wobble: all Cherry keyswitches and most mechanical key switches in general have it bad, due to the large number of moving parts that need to slide past each other requiring large tolerances. Membrane keyboards have 1 moving part, which usually only deforms instead of undergoing any actual movement. Topre switches might be your thing but Topre boards start at like $300USD and don't click so lol.

If you're after a light clicky switch that doesn't require you to make a custom board using obscure, end-of-line switches, Cherry MX Blues are your only option. Their p nice. I'd like to spread some information about other Cherry switches incase you change your mind about the switch you want: the best switch for gaming is the best switch for typing. Switches won't make you better in the same way a mouse with a decent optical sensor will, so go with whatever feels best. Cherry MX Reds aren't designed for typing at all, and were made for industrial machine control pads. They're fucking awful and provide absolutely no tactile feedback which for a mechanical keyboard, which has an actuation point distinct from its maximum travel, is super dumb. Reds have been hyped by 'xX_GaMiNg_Xx' marketing as super fast but they're bad. Browns are like Blues but not clicky, but due to a change in manufacturing, browns made in the last 2 decades or so (ie: fucking all of them available today) have a less tactile actuation point, resulting in a 'mushy' feel similar to membrane keyboards so don't get these. Cherry MX Clears are slightly heavier than browns but retain a not-shit tactile feeling and are becoming more popular because of this. Also, all mechanical switches are loud as fuck if you bottom them out, like most people do. The sound of bottoming a switch out is way louder than the click of Blues so don't get reds or browns because you want a quiet board. There is no such thing as a quiet mechanical keyboard.

Also LEDs are super dumb and burn out after like 6 months to a year so don't buy a keyboard for LEDs. And be sure to look into alternative form factors like TKL, 60%, and my favourite, 65%.

For a 100$ price range a lot of people here are going in the right direction. The CM storm QFR and some of their other boards are great TKLs and the Ducky shine series is consistently high quality. The shine 3 and 2 are classics and will give you huge bang for your buck in fullsizes. I cant really speak for the shine 4 and 5 as I personally havent had too much experience with them.

But for all of the people I have reccomended the QFR and shine 3 they all said it was a good choice.

both of these are solid entry level mechanical keyboards. They work well and wont break your bank.

I have both of these, and I completely agree: Very solid keyboards at a good price. The TK is more in your budget though.
