After a fairly smooth victory against Circa eSports this past Sunshine week in ESEA Invite, EVL Gaming found itself with a new scout who hailed from the very same team it defeated. highfive stepped down from the team and in his place arrived slemnish, the talented scout of former EVL Gaming and FROYO BLACK fame who had joined Circa eSports at the beginning of the season.
We caught up with highfive himself regarding the seemingly sudden change.
I'm just stepping down because I want time to do other things that I have been wanting to do for a while. It feels like I've played this game long enough and I'm quite happy with what I've accomplished with various friends throughout the years.
EVL Gaming's very own garbuglio also commented on the change.
When we lost highfive, we looked at the best possible options and the team agreed that slemnish was the best choice. slemnish has been playing very well and has been a great addition to our team thus far.
Moving forward in Season 23 of ESEA Invite, the new EVL Gaming roster is:
