I really hate to ask this because it's a sensitive question, but it's been on my mind this entire thread.

Is any revenue being made off of these videos, and if so, is any revenue from the videos going back into competitive TF2 such as prize pools and the such? I like the example compilation you made, it's just that my cynicism against reuploaders of clips like this makes me a bit wary about this.

I think this is a pretty cool idea. I really like stream highlight videos, especially since I always miss streams and stuff. Having a video with multiple streamers is pretty entertaining imo, so you don't have to check out many channels or search for highlights in forums if you're short on time. I don't really know if this will appeal to average casual players tho. Seems like they care more about the casual stuff (tryhard tuesday, unboxings, etc) instead of clips by comp players. On the other side these kind of videos might be a big help for some individuals (like me 2 years ago) who'd like to know more about comp tf2 but don't really know where to go, who the players are or how fun comp tf2 actually is.
So yea, if it'll go big or not, it's great to have such videos anyway.

Watched the video. Had a blast. Also is a great way to promote other streamers.

i would still suggest leaving the subtitles at white and then using other bright colors to denote other people talking instead of that weird brown, but otherwise a great vid. good job!

One thing you have to remember is that if these people don't play competitive, they're not going to have a clue who most of these people are.
It might be worthwhile just to put in for instance, hassassin, team froyo, invite, flag of their country maybe. Similar style to how fragvid makers did it in like 2011 when we had all those community fragvideos.

just helps people recognise who people actually are in these things, for instance I didn't know who habib was until I saw the death, cause I don't watch him. There's no way a pub player would know esp if they're european. It's somewhat hard to care or want to follow someone in that case.

ps - put in more twitch memes etc to appeal to the casual audience

It's not exactly as I suggested since it's missing div I guess, but this kind of thing was pretty common. All you gotta do is add a small box on the side with a little player info and it'll go a long way.

Most streamers aren't on a relevant competitive team. (i.e. truktruk, b3arodactyl)

It'd be better to just put their country flag(?) or something else. Just their alias and their stream name will do imo.

Well most of them go on tf.tv or whatever so instead of the team they could have the tf.tv logo (or blackout etc.)
