also if ur tilting throw/meme for a bit
Honestly, the most successful (and recent) thing I've done to prevent myself from tilting is to just mentally prepare myself by thinking "I'm not going to get upset no matter what happens" over and over again for like an hour before doing whatever it is that I need to go do, be it scrims/matches, etc.
As for practice modes like dm/mge and things of no consequence, If I'm feeling shitty during dm or whatever I just leave the server, go get some water and boot up quake live and track bots for an hour until I feel calm again.
If you're gonna be mad you might as well use the excess energy to be productive until you wear it out.

Hug your mom, tell her why you are upset.
Think about what a dissapointment you are to your family.
Uninstal the game, and become a productive member of society.

Tilt often happens when you take the game waaaaaay too seriously. You want things to be a certain way (not bottom scoring, not getting lowest dpm on server, not getting farmed in dm/mge, etc.), and if those things don't happen, it makes you go bananas.
Video games are supposed to be for personal enjoyment (I think), so instead of getting mad at your mistakes and/or lack of dm, find a way to laugh about it, because it is just a game (right?). Realize that some people are better than you and you have to accept that.
Some people use channeling the anger to just start focusing so hard on the game that they can't miss any shots and the inner fragger within themselves is released. Depends on your personality really, if the tilting becomes too extreme where you start smashing desks, yelling at other people for illegitimate reasons, or even breaking your peripherals, then it's time to go for a 10 mile jog and recooperate (if you can't jog for 10 straight miles, find a way).

Deep breaths when tilted. Move around a bit in respawn time to get comfy and relax :)

When i started working out daily i got a lot less stressed in all of life, including tilting less in tf2 and csgo
after you respawn switch to the spy class and recite this sentence either in mumble or in your head
"am i prepared to take on lifes challenges as this class?" and because you play 6s and because you are so smart your answer will be a 'no' and so you switch back to your main and leave the spawn door as a changed man
but regardless of what class you walk out the spawn door with just know that you made the right decision, because if your teammates respect you as a person they will allow you to make mistakes even if that means you having to play a class you are less comfortable with like the spy
and part of it is taking the first step to admitting you have a problem with how the game is. if you feel too much pressure its okay to feel like going cloak and dagger spy and hiding like a coward in the middle of a scrim, if thats who you are in that moment
but when youre ready you can ask your teammates to hold the spawn door open for you, so you can go back in and switch back to the class that you were really meant to play in your heart <3

I feel like it's sometimes inevitable to get frustrated or angry so it's more about getting a hold of yourself and not letting it fuck ur game than trying to avoid it entirely (in fact, trying so hard not to get mad may just be counter productive if it gets to the point that you're getting angry at yourself for tilting)

work on being less autistic/animal like. it'll do you wonders

I stopped tilting when I felt I got a lot more comfortable and better at DM and gamesense. I think it comes with experience and the best you could do is practice
the secret strat is to tilt so hard that you go a full 360 degrees and become normal again

Or maybe you're not autistic or animal like if you tilt. People get flustered in real life and in video games, If you get upset in real life and are off your game does that make you autistic?

yes
Step away from the computer for a couple seconds because it can get mentally straining, get a COLD glass of water, take a couple deep breaths when you need to, then prepare yourself to frag again.

autistic not in the literal sense. being emotional is naturally a biological defect in these circumstances. it helps in other situations but in gaming you're better off trying to remove yourself emotionally. feelings are a distraction and a top player never 'feels' when he's truly focused.
