Se7en do not ever go for uber trades over counter sacs if 2 teams have uber because uber trades dont necessarily create you an advantage unless the enemy team are poorly positioned which I think they trust EVL not to be.

I've been watched comp TF2 for ~4 years or so. Epsilon and broder were some of my favourite teams and far more entertaining to watch in my opinion. So do you think 3 years later, there are far less opportunities for teams to push now ? If so, where does this change come from ? When Epsilon wasn't parking the bus on granary to keep their lead, I never found the matches between broder and them boring.
Now that most of you are saying that this was the best move to make, I'm curious as to how we've come from this "non-stop agression" as numlocked described mix^'s playstyle to a 30 minute game which ended 0-0 with most players barely over 100 DPM. I don't think teams in the past were complete retards who would push whenever they wanted to, right ? Enlighten me.

2 teams overaggressing each other trading picks is both more entertaining to watch and play. However when both teams are on a equal skill level it is not the CORRECT way to play if your goal is to win.

Seven didn't push for 7 minutes while having a one player advantage during this whole time, not counting in the countless times Garbuglio bombed in to die without much result. They could've pushed any moment off of that 2-player advantage and later on killed corsa because it seemed pretty obvious they were aware of the spy.
and it wouldve turned into a shit uber trade very nice : )

I've been watched comp TF2 for ~4 years or so. Epsilon and broder were some of my favourite teams and far more entertaining to watch in my opinion. So do you think 3 years later, there are far less opportunities for teams to push now ? If so, where does this change come from ? When Epsilon wasn't parking the bus on granary to keep their lead, I never found the matches between broder and them boring.
Now that most of you are saying that this was the best move to make, I'm curious as to how we've come from this "non-stop agression" as numlocked described mix^'s playstyle to a 30 minute game which ended 0-0 with most players barely over 100 DPM. Too much risk, its better to hold and let the round run out to reset the middle than to do an uber trade and risk fucking it up
