Hi tftv, I'm looking for a new headset (don't think my current old pair of headphones and desk mic is cutting it). My budget is somewhere around £60. I don't particularly care about specifics, would just like decent sound and mic quality as well as comfort over reasonably long periods of time (I also wear glasses which may be a factor).
Can anyone recommend me some good options? Thanks.

Ive had https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015FY7P9O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for over a year now, im happy with sound and mic, plus ive travelled with it a fair few times and not been that gentle with it and it hasnt broken.
I dont know how it would work with glasses though.

I honestly recommend going for a separate headphone and microphone setup altogether. The quality on both will be much better.

SteelSeries Siberia v3's go for somewhere around $70 and I've used them for over a year now and dropped them countless time (cord got stuck on my foot when I put them down on my desk because my desk is extremely weird) they're also really comfortable after you break them in, the mic is good but the speakers sound kind of muddy in when using the 7.1 surround sound option in TF2.
I personally never owned a pair of V2's but my friend did and he said they're kind of tight and felt like they would break if he pulled on the headband too hard but other than that they were about the same besides the muddy sound, they go for $60 on the SteelSeries website.
also the Razer Kraken Pro's are a good headset too but I don't know how well they would fit with glasses since the pair I had were extremely tight.I was also rough as shit to mine and they only lasted about 6 months so if you're gentle with your shit you probably won't have this problem, you can find them for around $45 on Newegg.

If you want to get just a standard 'off the shelf' headset then I'd highly recommend saving up another 10 or 20 quid and buy the HyperX Cloud 2 or the Stinger. I've used the Cloud 2's and I really liked them, they're probably my favourite off the shelf headset I've tried. I've since moved on to a headphone + mic combo, but for the price the Cloud 2/Stinger is decent.

If you want to go for the separate headphone and mic which is generally recommended in terms of bang for your buck you can look here for some headphone suggestions

And then go for a nice simple zalman mic

The mic may not look like much, but it picks up sounds good, and the quality is good.

Get a cloud core over a stinger, the drivers in the stinger aren't great.
Cloud core should fit within the 60 pound budget.
