Necromancy got nothing to do with magic, it's just a combination of grave desecration and puppeteering and neither of those professions want to be associated with them either.

Necromancy is spells manipulating, creating, or destroying life or life force
Conjuration is spells that bring creatures or materials to the caster

Any half-wit spell user can conjure random shit but only those of us looking for real power have the balls to challenge and command the undead!

To actually answer the question, people probably ran into the thread through link or search and didn't realize it was old, so they habitually responded before checking post date. And sometimes people do it fully aware just hoping to be funny by intentional necro.

Isn't it better than just making the same thread over and over? Maybe people would stop reviving old threads if duplicate threads got deleted after a certain amount of time/posts.
