Many quality teams in there, while some look pretty ... disputable.
Anyway, I think AMS' and Adysky's teams are the strongest, based on recent results. Then I see Lego, Perminators, bug slayers, no dd +5 abs and Loli Squad fighting for the last two spots, with Perminators having an edge imo.
Overall the skill level looks very promising, for these qualifiers (with regular or ex prem players in many of these teams) and for the next season of prem overall.
One might say the seeding looks a bit odd, but I like the fact that not only results have been taken into account, and that stability has been rewarded aswell (looking at you, Loli Squad and bug slayer).
Who do you see taking the four spots ? Any upset in perspective ?
Edit: Actually, the russians too look capable of creating a surprise. Just, don't get War to cast any of Dima's game.

If the Challonge page for the double elimination looks confusing due to first round not having lower bracket, here’s an image to show when does the double elimination stage itself start. Can keep it up to date if wanted.

Can we get some coverage of some of these matches? plsplspls

As far as I know, all the disputable teams all have somewhat decent results against some of the more respected and known teams in pcw.
Not that I believe all these teams have an equal chance to take prem, but a lot of the low seeds might surprise you and none of then are gonna be 100% free for the middle seeds, at least in my opinion there could be a lot of upsets in the lower bracket. Even my team, which is IMO the weakest, has some small possibility to beat some teams you wouldn't expect, the guys who are better are gonna surprise you for sure and the games should be good.
Gl all :)

This looks pretty rough for the losers of the first round, usually teams had to lose twice to get knocked out, but I guess there was no other way considering the number of participants.

When I said disputable, it was just by looking at the look of the lower teams, and ofc you are right. I'm actually looking forward for the first games, because the past has proven us that upsets are possible. Last season's qualifiers, no one expected Nunya to perform so well, yet IIRC they were the first team to make it ot prem.
Tbf, at the moment, there is no team that I'd consider having absolutly no chance. All I hope is that all the teams that don't make it to prem stick together so we can have as really good High tier aswell.

only thing thats rough is that you have to play 3 officials in one week , hf arranging all those games

It's just basic qualifiers situation. Days are set, there's no scheduling involved.

When you think about it, these playoffs are actually well set, way better than the last ones I was involved in, where my team had to play two officials the same day, and finish the last map around 23:30..

ye i like the outline of the playoffs aswell i just hope all teams can play on the default dates because if 1 or 2 cant they can rearrange their date and therefore it changes the whole schedule for the bracket

PermzillaNice, 12 teams in playoffs yet again. Don’t know how many times this needs to happen before admins realise that having this many teams and this many games screws teams over and forces teams to play with mercy or not at all.
You could easily narrow this list down to 6 or 7 (still too much imo but understandable) and it would avoid all this mess. Yes I’m annoyed because it’s directly affecting my team but I complain about this every season. We cannot play every day with our roster and I’m sure there are plenty of the 12 teams in a similar position.
Just need the admins to put some high teams in high and deal with the shit they get from it. Thus is ridiculous now.
Just my opinion.
Thoughts?

Perm is right tbh
Edit: like you dont even really need the pre season playoffs ams team, ady team, kaido team and lego. easy.

Perm is 100% right, some of these "potential prem" teams are sort of ridiculous
edit: in that they are clearly not gonna beat the better teams in the playoffs I mean

Which teams would you then put in playoff?
edit: I honestly though my team were going to be the only shit cannon fodder team in the playoff, also that we were playing nunya for a spot instead of this but welll

This is a hard situation because sure you don't know the lower teams but what I've heard they had good scrim results against the well respected teams in these playoffs so putting them into high without a chance might be unfair when they had the possibility of beating the more well known teams and maybe even qualifying for prem

without getting too deep into details, i would rather have some real competition in high with equally skilled teams going back to back and fight hard for and in high playoffs than having these same teams somehow outplaying (more like outgimmicking to be completely honest) each other and then finish their prem season with 5 0:6 matches, one 2:4 and one 3:3 against the same team they played in playoffs
so yeah, top3 spots are quite obvious here, and having other 9 teams fight for 1 spot just for the sake of playing in prem looks a bit irrational from my perspective
