uberchainThere was this one memelord who needed to have this one very specific and very stupid/good picture of the Heavy as his god damn desktop wallpaper on every PC he played on including the grand finals stage.
I have no clue if it actually helped him but if it got him to grand finals more than three times...

I have a huge mouse pad but a really small inches per 360
I have different sense's for different classes but recently change my soldier/demo to match my medic one
Not playing helps me play. Normally i'm playing like 4 hours in pugs before I scrim but when I don't and only for like 30 minutes to 1 hour, I do better.
playing soldier before playing scrims as medic helps me do better.
also I play horribly when i'm hungry.

There has to be some form of airflow I'm my room otherwise when I get too hot I've found that I don't play as well. It can't be too cold as well because when I'm that way I miss super easy shots
Also I like to swap between pipes/iron bomber or original/cow mangler/rocket launcher whenever I feel like I'll play the best on a certain one

I can't hit arrows as medic unless I've gotten at least 30 minutes of ammomod practice as soldier beforehand.

Where do I begin?
Mostly/Entirely Placebo stuff
There must be a drink next to me at all times, regardless of if I take a drink the entire time I'm playing or not.
I lint roll my mouse pad almost daily..
If I get super tilted early on, during half time I go the bathroom and basically dunk my head in cold water.
I used to test to see if certain dumb things made me play better. i.e. Room Lighting, washing my hands in various water temps, etc. Lighting had no effect but I can say washing my hands in cold water made my grip on the mouse feel more consistent.
I can't stand my mouse cable dragging, I have a mouse bungee as well as a para-cord mouse cable and sometimes it STILL bugs me.
Probably not just Placebo...
Also believe I play better when I don't overeat. I feel like I play the best when I'm consuming between 1600 and 2000 calories a day. Prime example last night I felt I did poorly I had about 3000 calories that day :/
getting a stable 8hrs of sleep with a melatonin supplement
going on a 10 minute walk before scrims

Since I started playing competitive video games, I have had notes taped to my monitor reminding myself to do or not do certain things such as bad aiming habits and other in-game quirks I can't seem to lose.
For some reason, reading and reminding myself during a scrim/match will help a lot.

I didn't take those sticky notes to RBG LAN to avoid seeming strange. =)
