TFTV NA Weekly Series #1 Powered by FACEIT
Registration for the NA Weekly Series #1 is now open on FACEIT, with thirty-two team slots available. Player can sign with either a team or the solo feature to have FACEIT match you up with other players. Sign ups will close on May 27 at 18:00 EST; check-in will be on May 27 at 18:00 EST, with the tournament commencing on the same day at 19:00 EST. (Time may prone to change if there is enough requests.)
Format
The map pool will feature 5CP maps from the ESEA map pool, with the maps being:
cp_badlands
cp_snakewater_final1
cp_gullywash_final1
cp_process_final
cp_granary
cp_sunshine
The ruleset for the tournament will adopt the ETF2L rules. 5CP maps will have a thirty minute time limit and a five round win difference, with Golden Cap rounds deciding tiebreakers.
Prize Pool
20,000 FACEIT points are up for grabs, with the distribution being as follows:
1st: 10,000 FACEIT points
2nd: 6,000 FACEIT points
3rd-4th: 2,000 FACEIT points

EU uses this format and it's always worked well for them. Maybe we can give it a chance :)

Why isn't this visible on the TF2 "Tournaments" page on FACEiT? Is it TFTV exclusive or something? I don't know, it's just kinda strange that the only way to access it seems to be through the link on this post.
