With the new season just around the corner, The Sparkle Gang will be looking to make a splash in ESEA Season 26 Invite.

For those who have been around, the team name should be a familiar one. The Sparkle Gang debuted in ESEA Season 19 and enjoyed success in both the Open and Intermediate divisions. Their history includes making playoffs for three consecutive seasons of Intermediate with a 10-6 regular season record. Core members of The Sparkle Gang are june, lily (formerly known as Spamfest), and Stochast1c. Roamer june and scout lily have been together on every iteration of the team, and are known for playing a shared variety of classes thanks to their Highlander background. Stochast1c has been with the gang since Season 22 but also played with june and lily back in Season 18 Intermediate under Anteaters Chuckin Chairs.

A more recent mainstay, split joined two seasons ago and is the only member of the team with previous Invite experience. Known for his scout play, he will be distributing heals as medic this season. Fun fact: june, Stochast1c, and split have all played (at least) one season of medic for past Sparkle Gang lineups. Pocket soldier mirrorman and demo smitty are the newest additions to the team. The former joined last season during their 5th place Open campaign while the latter was picked up just one week ago. Both players started their ESEA careers in 2015 and have Open playoff as well as Intermediate experience. They will no doubt play crucial roles as the projectile classes on the combo side of The Sparkle Gang.

When asked about the team's history and their first season of Invite together, here's what june had to say:

We're all excited for Sparkle Gang's first season of Invite. Our core of Stochast1c, lily, and I have been playing together for around two years, lily and I almost three. Alongside mirrorman and our veteran Invite Medic main, split_, we've just taken an impressive 5th place in Open, and with up-and-comer smitty on our side, we are ready to topple froyotech from their thrones, build sentries, and strengthen our sparkly bonds of friendship~! *:･ﾟ✧
