In the aftermath of pocket soldier mirrorman departing for Black Swan, The Sparkle Gang have reacted quickly by adding etney to their roster. This change comes just before their match against Faint Gaming later this week.
etney started playing ESEA in Season 17 and has a couple seasons of experience at the Open playoff and Intermediate level under his belt. He is perhaps best known in the Highlander sphere as a soldier on teams such as Kids Next Door. Coincidentally, his last appearance in ESEA was in Season 24 as pocket for The Sparkle Gang during their Intermediate campaign. With mirrorman out, he will reprise the pocket soldier role for The Sparkle Gang moving forward.
When asked about the pocket swap, june had this to say:
After months of emptiness in his heart, etney has, at long last, rekindled his inner weeb, and we at Sparkle Gang are all very happy to welcome him back to pocket soldier. Etney's ability to puke damage out without eating heals is perfect for our Scout-centric playstyle, and we expect great things moving forward this season.
