Relatively self explanatory, when I use my push to talk in mumble and just talk the sound will be loud and clear for about 2 seconds then it instantly drops and stays quiet at a barely audible level until I let go of my talk key and push it again. Pretty sure it's a mumble problem because whenever I test it in mumble the problem is present but any other voice recording platform it doesn't.

check your gain setting in mumble. When your gain is too high you'll end up with a very loud hissing noise in the background that will only go away if you're basically screaming and not a lot of other sound will make it through. That'd be my guess.

ok i think i fixed it. to fix go to noise suppression and set it off. I had it at -16db before and the problem went away
