Recently I have been having this weird issue. Only in tf2 my mouse slows down randomly and it feels super inconsistent and clunky. I thought it's fps drops but it isn't. Sometimes it slows down for a whole game and sometimes at random times. Occasionally it even freezes for a second. It mostly happens when im turning or aiming. I tried updating graphics card drivers but it didnt work. I also tried capping fps at 132 but that didnt resolve the issues as well.

If you're on W10, think about reinstalling the OS: this is a common problem and new version and updates might have been the cause of this.

I've had this problem as well, and resetting tf2 to vanilla settings etc didnt help. Its Windows fucking up with you and I had to re-install my OS in order to get rid of the thing. If you dont want to do that, try this before re-installing OS:
mastercomsIf you have Windows 10, you can try m_limitedcapture_workaround 1.

m_limitedcapture_workaround 1, highly suggest that command as it fixed all the issues i had with my mouse. i also rested my pc, but i would try that command first and see if it helps.

When this problem first occured, I was using Razer Deathadder. Thought the mouse was the problem so bought Roccat Kiro and it still happened. Lastly, like I told before, I re-installed my Win10 OS and the problem went away and both of those mice work properly.

I am using a Zowie FK2+, and I recently upgraded to windows 10 (like in the last month). I have been using this mouse for slightly over a year now, and only VERY recently has it started drifting slowly when I was not moving the mouse at all. Drunk me thinks it's a good idea to blow into the optical laser on the bottom of the mouse, and unfortunately it seems to fix the problem usually, as it does get very dusty on my mousepad. I'm now curious though. Is it possible that all Zowie mice are prone to these odd sensor issues?

I already tried blowing into the sensor and it didnt fix it. I also cleaned my mouse pad last night i'll try today if that was the issue
